I share my bash files glued and hosted by nix shell, so that they work on other machines and importable. So nix is bash package manager and host.

agoric is ibc. i know ibc app layer and partially core layer. how at all, all things will work together. for example timeouts in ibc, client cannot timeout if server is dead for example. ibc goes hand in hand with identity and sagas.

on windows use hyperv as best solution, on linux we have best. same for mac. so just lacking, i did no searched so, one mgmt script set to abstract best per platform. vbox sucks if it is not open, there are closed best alternatives per plat

yes. nix builds linux filesystem with all dependencies and puts it into oci image. so locally i use process-compose to avoiding waiting docker builds.

we have public oss project. i guess we were not attacked yet. prs from forks run only main workflows, and these run nix which is kind of isolated enough. i guess one could attack with some infinite nix store bomb.
