I like how the title claims to explain how to found a business solo and then does nothing but explain different ways to build your team, why investors care about the team, blah, blah, blah. You aren't explaining how to build a business, yo

Yeah, but in my experience, the PM's response to that will be "can we get it done sooner?" If the estimated time aligns with what they want, then you're fine. But that's rarely the case and when things slip the code cleanup is pushed to the

Not sure how you define idiot, but more often than not pm's have no formal programming experience which makes it difficult (though not impossible) to understand the value of well-engineered code. The only language they speak is dates, which

Check an electoral map. Urban centers are democratic strongholds. In fact they are the only part of the map that matters for dems. The black belt has no impact on the presidential election. I have no idea why the author is calling sparsely

I've got to say that I've been a cynical admirer of Silver since the last election. Why cynical? Because I began to notice throughout the Republican nomination process that his observations varied wildly on which Republican candidate presen

Dude if somebody wants to create a man in the middle attack to see my Comcast contract, that's cool. Hell, just email me and I'll send you a copy. I think context matters. I don't think most people would ignore a cert warning if they were a

I agree. To me the story here is that Comcast is a huge company that takes way too long to process simple changes. But in reality, who the fuck cares if the cert for that page expired? It's not like their collecting your bank records.

Fair enough, but I still think my point stands. I suppose if their goal was to make a quick-hit and get rich very quickly while making a lot of people's lives much worse, then they succeeded. I believe that gives them too much credit. I don

I'm surprised to see so many people suggesting that Zynga's problems are purely moral. I think that gives them too much credit. I personally have no problem with their business practices from a strictly moral point of view. Caveat Emptor. N

I disagree. When you change state management to client side, you are making a fundamental architecture shift that is significant enough to remove a lot of server-side overhead. What makes you think refactoring code is going to give you a 10
