You're right, why didn't Apple product designers consider the massive segment of the population attempting to unlock their devices via facial recognition in the midst of a blizzard?

My money would be on D.C. Lots of access to government agencies that could add a lot of AWS business, a major concentration of highly-skilled tech workers and colleges, close to the Washington Post, and a lot of up and coming neighborhoods

People have been making this prediction consistently for a year. Meanwhile the market just keeps going up. Bubbles never happen where or for what reason people think they will, and for good reason- bubbles are formed by market participants,

I'll be interested to see where Netflix, HBO, and Amazon end up because right now it seems like a race to the bottom. Netflix is spending billions (I believe $8 billion this year) to create original content. Both Amazon and Netflix wan

I mean no offense, but you aren't Disney. Disney has been actively developing, innovating, and acquiring a huge library of content with proven demand for nearly a century. Clearly their priority is selling and licensing content. It sou

Part of what makes Disney Disney is that their content is extremely guarded and restricted. This makes the perceived value higher. Let's take straight-to-DVD movies for example. Anytime a movie is released straight-to-DVD, that immedia

I think this ESPN story is overblown. ESPN is itself printing money, it's just been in decline because of cord-cutting. But that's just recent history. Everyone can see that the cable tv industry is going to be replaced by streami

The fact is that Disney is extremely savvy and knows how to produce content that sells with a nearly 100% success rate. They are simply a marketing and merchandising machine. They use the vault the way diamond miners do- to restrict supply

Right, and people on here also seem to forget that they own ESPN. There are seemingly endless ways that Disney could package their content in ways that it would appeal to customers in every segment. Sell ESPN with SEC Network, ESPN 2, and a

Why are people so sure of this, especially given the recent plummet in oil prices? Car sales are at all time highs. Why do people assume that there's going to be a mass exodus to Tesla and EV's in the next few years?
