Sounds like a great platform. I wonder how many instances of everything they need for peak time. I have a system that is rated for 5M Time series data points per second and it takes about 150 physical servers so I am curious about what a Ne

no I after dealing with it I would recommend avoiding it like the plague. However with several petabytes deployed at remote sites its not a simple matter to up and abandon it.

I don't think this is new to 3.18. I have had a lockup issue in every version since 3.2 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29162

Even if each town had an oracle database squirreled away ( which they don't ) That still would not even come close to just the wordpress deployments (60 Million).

I think you overestimate the reach of Oracle. They are no where outside fortuine 500 and thats not a lot of deployments. MySQL is most likely the most deployed thanks to the LAMP stack's proliferation across all sorts of small and medi

So for someone who's first complaint was I was living in a magical world. You are clearly not in touch with reality. You mention divorce and college. 1. a very low percentage of minorities even get married. Meaning divorce is a statist

The model I have seen is the family unit ( mom and dad ) have kids and those kids go out and have children without a partner. Then the grandparents are in a two income household and they provide shelter and income subsidy to the children. A

Except in this case we have clear evidence for one side ( which is now provided ), but we still live in the internet where no rational conversation can take place.

I think any change would be poison to one side or the other. Which is a shame since there is no technical hurdle to overcome to provide secure and easy voting for everyone. You could totally remove all barriers to voting and make a secure s

So according to the 2010 census its nothing like you have described. its 60% white and the median income per family is 88k However I while I can't find the numbers for that specific town I imagine they don't deviate from the natio

Its actually quite easy to issue everyone an ID as most people already have one. Over 90% of individuals have a drivers license that could be used, That has nothing to say of any of the other official ID's that you could use, however t

So your post makes no sense. OpenSSL provides the FIPS portion directly. You can just download and compile it according to the instructions and you are now FIPS compliant just awaiting a certification. You can do this yourself, you don'

I didn't really think of New Relic as "Enterprise Software". They are a SaaS Company. Most of the reason enterprise software has so little R&D is because they spend all their resources customizing deployments for enterpri

Is it just me or do those numbers look really bad for a software company. They spend as much on General Administrative as they do on R&D and they spend 3.6x , more on marketing and sales then they do on R&D.

So now I need an emacs package that can parse my c++ and can replace all instances of the auto keyword with their actual types. That way I can develop quickly using auto but I can keep the code maintainable by having full type signatures.

At Drexel the school terms are three months. So each co-op is two terms. The normal cycle is two three month school terms one six month co-op.

Drexel University has a similar program requiring five years to complete. However the co-op's are for six months at a time which is infinitely more useful to both the student and employer then more frequent shorter co-op's.
