They can pay for data, too. Your sentiment isn’t enough if you want to impede their access to data.

Is Mozilla any better? They’ve lost their way and Google remains their largest source of income.

Let’s not overlook why there is an increase in deaths: people are depressed due to the disruptions in their lives. Attacking this from the perspective of increasing drug enforcement will get us nowhere. I’d argue that enforcement needs to b

Trump was an asshole and awful public speaker but his policies were good for the country. The current administration is further diving the US and pushing the limits of what’s acceptable. I fear this is only the beginning of much worse polic

I think this comment is sensational but generally true. Replace CSAM with “right leaning” politics and you are just as fucked. I’m thinking about leaving the US and getting a EU work visa to avoid the shitshow. There are a lot of people who

Mozilla has lost their way. Mitchell’s ability to lead the company is deficient. Respectfully I think she should step down and hire a real CEO again.

You should stop using the word nazi. It’s disrespectful to those who lost loved ones in the holocaust. Separately there is nothing wrong with people who have opinions different from yours.

I loathe videos on trending with the exception of some science content. I say “not interested” all the time but the third recommendation is always some bs I have zero interest in.

What about remote address correlation? DNS is transmitted in plaintext. Transit providers could evasedrop on your traffic and short circuit your work.

I think the modern browser API allowing sites to block selections is the real problem. Same with intercepting copy.

The USA is just as corrupt but the price is substantially higher. With the resources of a business you can almost certainly get away with many things.

Material science is hard. Conductive contamination will destroy circuits in unpredictable ways. This also makes debugging and future iteration difficult as the satellite cannot be inspected. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en&

The real tragedy is it had a massive chilling effect on other sites. A major escort site (not BP) was ethically ran by a retired sex worker. The site sold out of fear of prosecution and the new owner is a horrible person in my opinion.

I have personal experience with Backpage. They had a team of 70 analysts on staff to review all ads and were the #1 source of trafficking tips. I believe the bp owner got into a pissing match with the AZ DA and eventually lost. Many people

This is absurd. Vaccine efficacy is measured against natural antibodies resulting from a recovery. I cannot get the vaccine and I’m effectively a second class citizen. I was sick and recovered - my immune system is working as designed.

Florida has been open for awhile and Gov DeSantis is actively fighting measures that would require vaccine passports etc.

I can’t get the vaccine due to a medical condition but I was sick and recovered - having some form of natural immunity. These policies are absurd and unfairly punish people like me.

I’ve never heard of AIP before, looks like this is using LoX and bunker oil to drive a fuel cell. What’s the reaction going on to create energy from oil without ignition?

All the more reason to piss them off and ween off our addiction to disposable junk and sweatshop priced labor. Given the impact to the world we all should be asking difficult questions.
