1680x1050 isn't horrible for a 20" screen, and it's taller than a 16:19 display to boot. If you don't insist on retina for your 20" monitors, it wouldn't be remotely impractical.

That sounds more like urban legend than a true story. Neither Zelle nor Venmo (and it's a strike that you can't specify) have an obligation to cancel accounts based on comments. If they did, half of the accounts in Venmo would be

Pretty misleading title IMHO - from the 3rd para of the article: "In the first eight months of 2021, vehicles without any type of electrification – battery electric vehicle, plug-in hybrid, hybrid – made up less than 10 per cent of (9.

I think the goal of this article was to highlight options that US buyers would have at their local home improvement or hardware stores. I've seen every one of the recommended items at Lowes or Home Depot over the past several decades,

Facebook's DNS servers are unreachable, so a lot of devices are querying DNS servers repeatedly - this overload is probably the cause of a lot of the other issues we're all seeing today.

Federal law says you can actually drive a much longer vehicle than a 26 foot box truck, as long as it's GVWR isn't over 26k lbs. A few states may have more restrictive policies, but as far as the US Gubbmint is concerned, the wei

It doesn't cost anywhere near that for someone on medicare (under $200), which an 80 year old man would be. Quoting out-of-pocket costs for a medical procedure that's covered by insurance for the vast majority of people is kinda

Having laws or rules you intentionally don't enforce at all can't be good for society. Why would people conditioned to steal from the state in one way not be expected to eventually steal from them in others as well?

That sounds like the worst possible outcome - you're literally teaching that poor people either don't have to be honest or are expected to be dishonest. I would hate to live in a society formed by that ethos...

Not that heavy. Air displaces about 62 lbs of water per cubic foot, so a goatskin the size of your torso would require more weight than a soldier could carry to offset it.
