This looks like Haskell, and it is just as difficult to tell program structure here as with Haskell. I seriously have to stare at any 3 to 5 lines of Haskell for about 30 seconds before I get anything about what they're saying and I ha

You are not your job. You never were. Every single person on this planet has intrinsic worth that has nothing to do with what they do or how they think. You are important regardless of where you have worked. I often find the most painful em

In my experience the opposite is true. Introverts are among the most prolific writers on the internet. Indeed much of the text written on the Internet is written by them. As an extrovert I find a much smaller need to write. I find it boring

I love this because I use markdown heavily in vim. I can't get vim markdown plugin to support auto bullet point insertion and nice `gq` bulleted list paragraph formatting at the same time[1]. However, vim lets you set a program that

It actually says that the test will catch it hours later and that the assertion will fail? The contrived example would only ever happen if the developers in question didn't talk to each other. A lack of coordination is the real problem

I have written several scripts -- some throwaway, some not -- that use ed. If you know what you need to do to edit a file and need it automated, ed is just super handy. Here is a shell script that deletes all comments from a yaml file, then
