The salaries for technology workers in the Waterloo Region are so horribly depressed compared to other parts of Canada, and the US, that no half decent developer will stay there. If they have half a brain they'll move to San Fran and easil

Like in the past, hopefully browser authors and working groups take what is being done in JavaScript frameworks, and makes those tasks easier to implement and platform/browser agnostic. It is work like this that is the direct reason that we

This is like feeling sorry for people who work overtime for telemarketers. Oh poor them. Zynga was a cheesy business to begin with, and absolutely every employee there knew it.

In all likelihood all three will co-exist, but w3schools will continue to get most of the traffic.

What's not very clear to me is if my Glacier files are a subset of my Dropbox files, or a separate datastore. I only have 2GB of Dropbox space because I never upgraded. But I have about 100GB of archive data I'd probably throw into Amazon

Microsoft was so ruthless, and dominating in the 1990's that it will be incredibly difficult to convince any developer that was streamrolled by this company to give them a second chance.

By far the worst thing about this is there will never be an improved web browser on the iPad... ever. Because of Apple ridiculous aversion to altenate web browsers (that don't use the Safari engine) no third party will be able to deliver a

The dev tools seemed to be everything that the common web dev wanted. The dev tools are useless if the platform is a failure. Had HP not prematurely aborted the platform, and a Phonegap port been maintained, then I can hardly see w

I hope all Android OEMs are fully aware that Google has tricked them all into a race to the bottom. That's pretty much been Google's strategy against all its competitors to date.
