You're right. Probably not. But at least the chance exists as there isn't a multi-KB obfuscated JS dependency somewhere that would be a lot harder to handle.

I designed a similar tool with that threat model in mind: the resulting HTML/JS is as minimal as possible so it’s possible to inspect before entering the password. Of course assumes safe browser and client machine.. https://

Time is difficult to do. You can use hooks to have a function called for events like entering a function or executing a new line of code and then decide in that callback if execution should continue. That's fairly expensive and might n

My gut feeling is that we're entering into capitalism's end game phase. The endless growth is unsustainable and is eating away the only planet we have. Once it becomes apparent that business as usual isn't going to work any l

It probably helps a lot that it's still not a publicly traded company. Steam can prioritize long-term profits and doesn't have to squeeze out its user base for every last penny. Counter example: Activision/Blizzard.

I wrote a similar software for the same reasons. One goal for mine was that the generated output is small enough to quickly verify that the code sent to the browser is the one you expect. Total code size is under 100 lines. https:/&#x
