That only partly helps with cheating. Client side cheat software still has access to the internal game state and can modify rendering (so you see in the dark for example) or input (point the gun at any visible opponent). If you only remotel

That sounds pointless. If you have real crypto, tossing the key (in a way that it cannot be recovered) is absolutely enough.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're asking for, but it sounds like zsync ( http://zsync.moria.org.uk/ ) is what you're looking for.

I don't think there's any reason to upgrade unless some of your dependencies require a higher version and backporting is more expensive that porting over all your existing code. Since it sounds like you expose libraries with your

Kind of. Originally, info-beamer for the Pi started as a standalone binary intended to run on Raspbian. This product (info-beamer pi) is still available and has also been updated to support HEVC playback. See here: https://info-b

To be fair, these kind of low level stuff is usually handled by only a handful people, so investing a lot of time in proper documentation might be a lot of work for something useful by few users. The same is also true for DRM and in general

If you can live with a pure software version for the Pi, have a look at https://info-beamer.com/pkg/8474 . If easy to install using the OS we build and you can update it remotely through an API or of course on-device.

Their USB charger costs 7€. From my experience: Just buy their charger and you'll have no problem. I've seen so many attempts at powering the Pi with alternative sources that suck and cause problems. 7€ is worth avoiding that.
