Not necessarily: Physical memory and virtually addressable memory are two different things. See for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_Address_Extension . Not sure how that works on the Pi though.

You can now easily do that in a browser[1], if you need a quick fix. It's the version with aircraft and scenery designer and the audio upgrade. I had to tune the DOSBox clock speed a bit with Ctrl-F12, but it works pretty well (manuall

If you need a professional solution for more than a single screen, consider taking a look at https://info-beamer.com (my companies product). Otherwise omxplayer has a -loop argument IIRC.

Not technically my Pis, but I built a digital signage ( https://info-beamer.com ) product around it. So I enjoy working with the Pi and making a living from it.

I guess that's why the JavaScript type confusion fixed in 67.0.3 was "exploited in the wild"? Because on its own, the rendering/JS process is compromised (which of course is bad) but it should still be sandboxed from the

Yep. That's the "I'm probably wrong" part. I knew that i3 had something like that, but I remember that you could only start one program within the scratchpad. If there's a tabbed mode within the scratchpad, I should

One of the dozen users checking in. My favorite feature of ion/notion is the alt-space scratch pad. I always have a bunch of ad-hoc terminals or other programs open that I can easily reach from any desktop. So far I haven't seen a

I guess that's why you'd want to use tarsnap, borg or restic. All of their source code is available and ready for inspection and no trust is required if you have the time and capability to verify their claims.

Didn't personally play with it, but UHC (ultra hardcore, aka PVP with only one live) from a bunch of streamers used it for one season. It was pretty fun to watch: https://youtu.be/WfHtL07nvcE?t=73

Sounds like a technical solution for a problem that just needs regulation and laws. I'm in Germany. I never had a ad/scam call on my cellphone number in basically 20 years. I get some kind of poll call every two months on my lan

I don't think that's a problem. IPFS is content addressed so each added commit/issue/whatever added to the chain of a repositories state changes the head address. IPNS is then used to update a pointer to that head so you

It's possible to write 256 bit of user data to the Pis internal OTP memory. You can store a non-changeable key there. Of course that's then easily readable if you can run execute commands on the Pi. LittleFS (recently posted here)
