I wonder if NFC chip implants people usually put in their hands can be rewritten to work with this. That would be pretty dope to accept payments from people just by asking them to tap your hand :)

It still hard to believe that one of the largest tech giants can't handle UI and UX of their main product right. I would normally assume it's an inherently hard problem them, but there is a counter-example to compare with – VKonta

Do you have any concrete examples of the effects of this "prioritization" or it's just speculation? I use Flutter almost exclusively for iOS and I haven't seen any difference in development or user experience so far.

This. After using Nokia N9 (and Nokia N950) for 1.5 years and switching back then to iOS, I almost couldn't believe how crappy iOS alarm experience was (and still is!) in contrast to the overall polished UI. I also enjoyed a lot the sw

Cool stuff! I wish GPU programming was more accessible for mortals, so one could implement similar thing with any mainstream programming language as a normal library.

Came to the comments to write a similar comment. I've used Stellarium ~10 years ago, and it's been awesome even then. Seeing v0.19 version feels misleading and discouraging new users to try it out of curiosity.

I'd rather be cautious with such assessments like "absolutely a natural night owl" – at least until we're able to tell that from the genome directly, haha. I'm a night owl myself, but around 10 years ago I've a

While there are some good ideas brought up in this post, in my opinion, author misses the main point about JS and, JS fatigue, which leads to the vague advice like "solve problems". The point is, as Fred Brooks put it, in software

Nope. Apple Watch pairing is unidirectional and low-bandwidth, and uses extremely cool patented technique with hiding data in luminance changes. It's exploiting the fact that human eye is so much more sensitive to the chrominance chang

I wonder what throughput it can give when used as an animated sequence of codes? I experimented with animated QRs for data transfer last week and the real maximum I’ve achieved was around 9KB/s. https://divan.github.io/
