Actually yes. If the patient refuses treatment you do not give them a prescription they is useless but rather tell them of an alternative if one exists. If none exists then tell them that. In the end, it’s the patients right to have the tre

I wholly agree. From what I see OP also agrees since they will now be using a stricter criteria to enable them to close more incidents earlier and only reopen when it's proven that there are other issues.

When you place a fix into production, often it's the case you hope it resolves all issues and doesn't create new ones. However, you don't know if it resolved everything because you are only working with the symptoms given by

I agree. I contacted Cloudflare sales for a small order of just a 100k or so per year, and they totally ghosted me after my first round of questions. No quote, no contact, nada. I gave up and went to Fastly. You may say my order was too tin

It doesn’t make sense to unionize when you are powerful and you can use “merit” to raise your power and compensation. As the economy downturns, more and more software devs on the low end will be pushed to the point where unionization makes

Chores, house projects and childcare are all productive work. As seen here, no outsiders will ever gainsay you for doing them. Pretty much the only person to criticise that approach will be a spouse. Romantic partners usually wish for more

People, not being idiots, aren't going to torpedo their own argument by saying Tesla is great and cheaper. They are going to rant about being nicked and dimed on FSD versus other car brands. They will say the trim isn't up to luxu

In fraud and account closure cases, pretty much all businesses are hard to contact. Its frustrating. While I understand, businesses do not want to give hints to scammers, there should be some way for a person to get details. For small busin

As far as I can see, if you produce a fruit that is healthy, with good coloration and the only thing “wrong” about it is the shape then you can still sell it. You just can’t call your torus shaped fruit a cucumber because that’s not what an

I will agree that land is a special case, but that’s why we tax it continually. I think society needs property tax to perform well, or else people will horde control of land under the mistaken belief that they can sell or rent it for high p

I’m not sure why the idea of perpetuating inequality “doesn’t make sense”. For most of human history that’s literally what civilization has been about: building on the efforts of your ancestors to be better than your neighbors, other tribes

I’m working on AI of this type: essentially retraining and fine tuning existing systems. I can assure you, I am not one of the world’s best minds. To me, this feels like gluing APIs together, with a bit less cursing than in my PHP days.
