This article is a disaster. Beyond logging into your Google account nothing they described in the article is required to set up an Android phone.

95% of what was written in this article isn't required to set up an Android phone. You can literally log into your Google account on first boot and everything is done for you, automatically.

This is literally the midwit meme... Here's how you actually set up an Android phone: - log into Google account - select a few checkboxes (basically just if you want to restore apps or not) - done, everything else is automatic All the

The fact a leader can be assassinated at any moment by the US probably changes the succession plan slightly... I imagine any potential successor is thinking hard about whether it's a job they actually want.

It's the biggest military buildup since 2003. Kinda looks like they plan on overthrowing the regime. Which would be amazing for world peace considering Iran is building drones for Russia and supporting Hezbollah and Hamas. But we&#x

Pro tip: Gemini Flash is the new Google. Bypasses all the SEO and ad garbage. Also I still haven't found anything that replaces Google for finding local, physical businesses. And Gmail? I have it mainly to give to random businesses.

You say you read it yet you brought up a disability that wasn't in the article nor relevant to the premise of the article. 40% of people aren't blind. We know this.

> There's nothing wrong using C as your backend I didn't say there was. Saying use C instead of LLVM is fine for a language designer. But that doesn't make it a replacement for LLVM as a piece of infrastructure. C compile

Avoiding interacting with LLVM as a user doesn't mean you've created something equivalent to LLVM. And if the C compiler you use is clang then you're still literally making use of LLVM.

Except performance isn't great and it covers far fewer platforms. It aims for 70% performance but the few benchmarks I've seen show more like 30-50% performance. It's a cool project and I'd consider it for a toy languag

That's why there's nothing that comes close to LLVM and MLIR, right? If he's such a horrible engineer then we should have lots of LLVM replacements, right?

Either same time or before the N64 or closer to when the PS2 and Xbox were released. Sega missed an entire generation but then released between generations. Also they released right as N64 and PS1 games were arguably at their peaks.
