   From what I heard, it was not that rosy. But US needed a base for the Korean war. That gave Japan some leverage.

   I have this kind of issues on Mojave. I blamed the firewall. With ethernet disconnected, everything runs smoothly. Connected: random freezes of 1-2 secs. Why does it need the internet all the time?
