Combined with Privacy Sandbox [0], this means the browser can track you directly without cookies, but websites can't track you via IP address. So it has the effect of centralising the tracking to google only. I haven't used Chrom

The benefit is that you can reject bad requests to an API more easily. For one application I used a base 58 encoded value. Part of it was a truncated hmac, which I used like check digits. This meant I could validate IDs before hitting the

Maybe there are some answers to that here https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/hpc/in-the-search-for-performan... Where AWS explain why TVP isn’t good enough for them and why they are developing a replacement.

Also nodejs is deprecating versions at an impressive rate. Todays LTS will be out of date soon. AWS and thus Vercel have to follow along. So you can’t run a node based serverless app for more than a year or two before you either put the wor

C# is not a C-like language. It's a managed runtime with garbage collection. However Mark Russinovich, CTO of Azure did say that it's time to drop C and C++ https://twitter.com/markrussinovich/status/157

We wanted to deploy into AWS lamba (using nextjs) with the main login flow being outside the app, then token validation being in a edge lambda. This decoupled the app from the authentication , we didn’t need any any authorisation.
