Thanks for clearing that up, I was not aware that PayPal had such a big presence in the UK. What I meant with the second quote though is that, although I know PayPal is a universal payment provider, it lacks the reputation that brick ´n mor

I'm sure it's not that important if it's empty or private. They want to get a sense of the type of person you are, as they're funding people, not ideas. Anything that can help them knowing you better could be important, but I would't worry

Maybe it's me, but I don't think it is that bad. Yes, you see the occasional trolls, but it's nowhere near as bad as Techcrunch or Reddit or whatever. There was a post about some guy wanting to move to SV asking for a place to crash, and he

I don't think it's a matter of aesthetics vs safety, or onsite vs third party (I'm Dutch). Yes, I agree that third-party redirects don't appeal to many users, but the same goes for a payment form hosted on your site. You have to understand

I started a little catering business on the side. Italian and French cooking is a passion of mine, and I had this plan of starting a catering business. While it is a fun side project, I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't want to do it f

This particular job posting not only failed to mention one single thing that would appeal to me (or any well-thinking person for that matter), but it also agitated me. Listing the stack is an attribute, not an advantage. So is the location,

Haven't actually built an app yet, but two minor things come to mind about the pricing page: - the comparison chart has red marks and dashes. Red = no. Green = yes. I'd use green checkmarks. - $29 a month is an odd pricing to me. I don't ge

Anandtech has an excellent piece on SSD's, which really helps you understand how they work, which ones are good and which ones aren't. http://www.anandtech.com/show/2738 Even though the piece is from 2009, it still is very relevant.if you
