im glad it is politically charged now - that's how it should be if there is a free exchange of ideas!

even back when i didnt do scala, i used an IDE to fully automate this. By far the least annoying part of the system.

The JVM and its ecosystem are the best thing about the Java platform. Not the language, i dont even use it anymore and i am nearly 100% JVM based. But even then its still not horrible. it's just that there are better options like Scala

i dont think they are blind to their own bias, i think they are championing their own values, but that's the problem.

Yeah well its different too because often the coding interviews are more like 'we know you're used to building with real bricks but just do it blindfolded without mortar in 100x less time for the interview, thanks'

Fun fact, 99% of words ending in -tion are the exact same in French. Every English speaker has a head start of hundreds of word vocabulary in French.

I would agree but i use voice heavily with AI agents and here is why: no matter how fast i can type, i can speak much faster, and while i do other tasks.

I'm going to wait a while and see if this information pans out. Remember when there was a huge scandal about Trump communicating with Russia but then it just turned out to be a spam email? https://theintercept.com/2016&

I am not super familiar with it, great question - my guess would be its the latter! Does Haskell's provide protections?

historically, I did not write a lot of code in python - but since an LLM can, now i especially have no problem doing more scripts in it. it's so much more scalable than bash and pretty much ubiquitous.

If you read the SCOTUS ruling, all it upholds from the lower courts decision is that the USG must 'facilitate', not 'effectuate' his release. AFAIK the Court doesn't have a way to order El Salvador to do so

Looks great - unlike java which is somehow recommending the format: STR."Hello \{this.user.firstname()}, how are you?\nIt's \{tempC}°C today!" compared to scala s"Hello ${this.user.firstname()}, how are you?\nIt's $
