Fun fact, 99% of words ending in -tion are the exact same in French. Every English speaker has a head start of hundreds of word vocabulary in French.
- stragies 1y agoThose words also exist in Spanish, there the ending is "cion", and in Portuguese with ending "cão"
- ElevenLathe 1y agoAnd in Polish: -cja. Lots of languages have had a deep relationship with Latin, not just Romance languages.
