You don't need an ARM runner to produce ARM images. Docker buildx supports building for more than one architecture through qemu: https://github.com/microsoft/azure-pipelines-tasks/issues/12...

It's using wgpu so it will run on nightly Chrome and Firefox through Webassembly and hopefully anywhere once the WebGPU standard has settled.

No it works on devices where I still have it installed :) just meant I can't install it from the store, which is different from Steam where you are still able to install games you bought even if their store page got taken down

Fingerprinting for this purpose requires user consent in the same way a tracking cookie would. Admittedly, fingerprinting is harder to prove from the user side.

If your only target from Markdown is LaTeX, I recommend the LaTeX markdown package which uses lua to parse and convert the input markdown: https://github.com/Witiko/markdown Pandoc shines when targetting multiple backe

Even when run under Wayland, VSCode looks blurry with a scaling of 150%... Wayland advocates love to mention that the real issue is using fractional scaling at all, but Windows and macOS can deal with it just fine.

Also, how would this work if their whole infrastructure is down? The same problem that prevented them from fixing the network would also have prevented them from adding such a redirect.

Hetzner have always been picky about who they allow as customers, and I can't even blame them for it.

I took the opportunity to base my visual computing project for this semester on the Rust WebGPU implementation (wgpu-rs). Working with it is very nice, compared to OpenGL and Vulkan. The biggest pain point right now is WGSL because it still

Yup wasm is the way to go as you can just distribute the wasm binary over npm and don't have to worry about further compile steps on the consumer side, but it's not always possible to use wasm.

How does the Tesla V100 compare to the Tesla P100, which Scaleway offers at a similar price of €1/hour? https://www.scaleway.com/en/gpu-instances/

I find it funny how people try to declare H265 a winner when it will most likely never land in Chrome or Firefox. Safari has its user base, especially on mobile, sure. But it will never gain any momentum on the web until Chrome supports it.
