This is a non-issue in C#. In C#, properties have getters and setters. Instead of making a function named GetPrice() you'd simply modify the price getter to include the additional fees.

Why? You get what you pay for. Most of the stuff I've reviewed from outsourced companies is pure garbage. These companies are simply shooting themselves in the foot by doing this.

I don't agree. I think this is a great step into encouraging users to follow a format when submitting issues. It would make it easier to add tags to these issues as well. Any other discussion can be submitted the same way, you'd j

I found this particular quote from the article interesting. > Margaret Quigley, 27, a techie with some coding experience, is on the hunt for a job in San Francisco. > Quigley, who previously worked at a popular consumer start-up, has

I have a question. I'm wondering why big companies buy smaller companies but don't keep their branding. For instance, if Google bought Picaza, why not just make Picaza the de-facto image storage app? They'd replace their Phot

I agree with this as well. Just because I've heard of Mithril.js doesn't mean I'm going to now start considering Mithril for my projects. One of these Javascript libraries could end up introducing an innovative idea or have a

I find that to be WebAssembly's biggest selling point. It will be interesting to see how developers leverage other languages in the browser.

You can already debug Node.js applications in Visual Studio Code so they may provide DNX debugging eventually.

While I'm not a huge fan of the tone, I do agree with a few points. The ES6/ES7 syntax is freaking awful... I still write almost all of my JavaScript code in ES5 because I don't really want to have to deal with all of the mag

You should listen to haggy. He's correct about considering features that your users want. In this case, if you're looking to make the big bucks then expanding to businesses is a great route (the businesses would be your users). I

I feel inclined to agree. These kinds of decisions are the ones that get you in deep trouble when the vocal minority starts to scream. It really is very trivial to at least give some sort of message, warning or guide to upgrade when attempt

I find Vue.js to be so refreshing that it's a shame everyone is so obsessed with Angular.js and React. For me it has been the best of the bunch.

Oh my Christ, not this again. The framework fatigue is real. Why are people trying to push Angular 2 or React even? The former is still under heavy development and the latter is such a painful pill to swallow.

Extremely happy with Vue.js. I had the same exact reaction; I started to learn React, got frustrated, found Vue.js and have never looked back. It fits everything that I need in a front-end framework and it does so without getting in my way

Big fan of Phoenix and the Elixir community. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and Chris himself has given me some advice when I'm stuck. Very happy with this framework and I look forward to seeing how the Elixir community grows. T
