This article is so poorly written it's hard to take it serious. The entire paragraph about the size of a UUID takes reading it three or four times before you can actually understand what the author means... In what context would a prim

You'd think you'd want to attract good engineers regardless of skin color or gender but what do I know?

This is my EXACT experience. It's crazy how similar both of our experiences were. Crazy amounts of fury navigating the Microsoft docs.

What's wrong with using Sublime? Quite possibly the best text editor I've ever used. It's snappy, elegant, and it has a boatload of features.

I've had so much fun with this game. The game design is on a whole other level. The fact I can take a regular arrow, walk up to a campfire, light the arrow on fire, shoot the ground and light THAT on fire, create an updraft and ride it

In that case, why use AJAX at all? Might as well just use postbacks.

Interesting article. Definitely something to keep in mind when hiring. It's crazy how much damage one person can do to a team (and vice-versa, I've seen one person change entire team dynamics). It's also really important to b

That's the point. It's to discourage employers from using H1-B visas to hire people to make CRUD apps and instead hire domestically.

I wouldn't recommend Surge.sh. We've experienced a lot of downtime in production and we switched off of it.

If you have a relatively large app and having URLs makes sense, the router is a no brainer. No real tips; the vue-router documentation is excellent. If you're coming from Vue 1, the only thing that did confuse me is that the router hoo

We're using Vue and its router in production since 1.x, so I'm not sure where you got that impression...

Offended? The article is right. We expect Apple to innovate but the power users get mad that they're not keeping things the same. It's like when they switched to Thunderbolt. There was a huge outroar because it wasn't USB 2.0

Just recently migrated our main production application from Angular 1.x to Vue due to a massive rewrite of our core logic and some general messiness in the front-end. Extremely positive outcomes so far. It's an easy framework for our j

Why not choose Vue.js? It's extremely simple, fast, easy to get started with, and very similar to Angular.

I find the virtual DOM is much easier to create using regular HTML syntax. I like Vue 2.0's approach where it creates a virtual DOM from the actual DOM itself. Edit: I left a huge comment regarding POJOs and how the example on the home

Once you're experienced and writing better code, this isn't a crucial feature. It does help when you've got coworkers who write classes with 20,000 lines however (not an exaggeration, I've actually seen this).

I can't believe it took this long to show the name of null references. NullReferenceException is actually the first exception I ever encountered when I started learning how to use C#. That being said, better late than never.
