Agreed. It's really easy to say "stop hating each other" when you refuse to point the finger at the media companies which have stoked the flames of division.

I got the second Moderna shot and I didn't feel a single side-effect. Interesting how that works.

Just because you (and dozens of others on this site) continue make this argument over and over doesn't mean that it isn't a problem. Edit: someone built that town square. Someone founded those forums. At the end of the day, someon

The issue with this sentiment is that while some things are blatantly racist, there are other things that aren't so black and white. This is one of those slippery slopes where if left unchecked, anything and everything will be consider

I was called a conspiracy theorist on Reddit last year for saying that this likely came from the lab in Wuhan. Now it's a possibility? It's getting incredibly frustrating to go online and be constantly attacked for having common s

You seriously think that life now, with all of the advancements in technology and healthcare, is not better than it was 40 years ago? Not better than the 1980s?

This is admittedly a low quality comment, but I really feel like saying: herewego.jpg I haven't heard anything about "anti-Asian" sentiment till last week. Maybe it, you know, doesn't exist at the level you think it does

I've always wanted to try Auth0 and I've heard great things! I would love to hear if anyone has had a positive experience with Auth0 as well.

This is really depressing... It's like there's no escaping this type of mentality anywhere in the U.S. I'm currently in the process of leaving California. I won't miss it at all I'm afraid.

I realize this is tangential, but I'm currently making a video game. Is the video game industry similar? I worry that I won't get much return on my investment...

I can also confirm that I've run multiple personal projects using something very similar. Basically I just deploy the binary as a `systemd` service on a VPS somewhere (Amazon or DigitalOcean traditionally) and I don't have to thin

This is exactly what I don't understand. If it's the same art, why does it matter if the art is in an NFT or in a physical representation? Like, why are people buying pieces of art using NFTs?

Agreed. I can’t believe what a massive cultural shift I’m witnessing. Divorce is in no way shape or form a “healthy end” to a marriage. The point of marriage is that it doesn’t end. It is a lifelong commitment. People evolve and so too shou

Thanks for sharing your experience. I love Elixir, but I have yet to find a way to be truly productive with it. Funnily enough I had a very similar experience with Go. * It was very hard for our startup to find any Go developers. * The Go l

Surely, this is sarcasm? If not, then I guess as a society we're starting to be okay with just outright silencing people.

I don't agree at all. Git is the simplest version control system I've ever used. The concept of merging, rebasing, cherry-picking, and resetting works so naturally that I'm basically going to expect this level of ease of use
