I think the whole trope that “making a successful game is close to impossible” is overly cynical. I’ve found a few people online say that they don’t understand why their game did really poorly even though it’s like X and does Y AND Z. So I

> What binds us to a virtual DOM? The virtual DOM was created to solve browser performance issues with the actual DOM. This may not be relevant anymore, but that's why it was made.

I think it's unlikely that, as a technology, Bitcoin will ever go away due to its decentralized nature. I think what most people refer to when they say "Bitcoin will fail" is a price drop so significant it makes the coin wort

Hm, that does point to network issues then. That's odd though because I would get frame drops. Maybe I'll try it again, but I think it's just not for me.

I actually had a really bad time with this game. The game was an absolute stutterfest. I have a Core i9/2080ti, so this is inexcusable. It’s typical to see this in multiplayer Unity games. Aesthetically it also turned me off. The menu

I wish I had something more productive to add, but I want to say is that I love this article. It is absolutely the state of things... but I'm unsure what the solution (or solutions) are.

This YouTube video from MeatCanyon IMO nails why Mr. Beast is so damn uncomfortable to so many people, including myself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-tQXZCEi54 It's also pretty hilarious to boot. Edit: he made a f

Hey, I'd be interested in seeing what this looks like but the README.md is just a bunch of wordiness. I worked on a beanstalkd client for Node.js and Golang, here's an example of going straight to the point: https://git

Yeah I'm not convinced. As usual with most pro-ChatGPT posts I see, there is little to no actual useful information on how to use ChatGPT practically. When I read one of these articles or posts, I usually expect to see concrete prompts

The only reason I said I like it is because I want Reddit to face repercussions for the decisions they're making. Sorry if it sounded any other way. This is absolutely awful for me as a user, especially since I used Apollo everyday. Bu

This is pretty wild. I don't think I've ever seen something like this. I like it. I think Reddit needs to come down to reality.

It's unlikely the developer is making $20m+ a year. But only Reddit would know the real number.

The problem with this is that the discourse in those kinds of sites are way too extreme. People who have been kicked off of Reddit and want to _only_ engage in that topic tend to be fanatical. We need companies to embrace _both_ sides.

This is absolutely nuts. The only reason I was still using Reddit was because of the Apollo app. Best of luck to you in the future Christian.

If you comment any pro-Elon Musk argument on a subreddit, no matter how tame, you will get banned. Happened to me in /r/worldnews. This isn't some conspiracy: mods are actively banning discussion.

It's truly depressing. Reddit's usefulness as an aggregator is what's kept me around for so long. But the sheer extremist views I see on a daily basis are so off-putting. My wife jokes about how I say every other month that &

I'm so sick of seeing this strawman. "Well, ChatGPT 4 is better!" Well, how should I know? I'm not paying for ChatGPT 4. At least a product like Midjourney is consistent both in its paid and unpaid form.
