Most people do not understand medicine well enough to make an informed choice based off of risk. And as noble as it is to sacrifice yourself for the "greater good", I think it's absurd to place that expectation on the average

I agree with one caveat, the "leadership" you mention is actually "management". Actual leadership requires you to do a hell of a lot more than just what you're told/serving your own bottom line.

It's a result of supply and demand. In other industries there is too much supply, people pile on the degrees (and go deeper into debt) to be more competitive. Employers then raise the bar for hiring and people still end up with crappy

This carrot peeler has a variable value to customer, dependent on how much the customer will use it. We won't put the price out there until we know how valuable it is to our customer. LOL.

Meh, I don't think it's extreme to get up early every morning and exercise, though I do agree with the gist of the article. My 63yo father wakes up at 5am every morning to get to the gym and into the office by 630 and he is by no

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. There is a whole new crop of start-ups in the healthcare space with founders coming from Google and Facebook (ie Flatiron Health). I think this is great for bringing innovation to an ind

I think about it differently. They are alienating and fragmenting people that would otherwise be on their side by turning every issue into "this is how it affects me and since it affects me and my gender we have to fix it." If we

I took the comment differnetly. If we as a society are going to spend 30k+ a year on an individual, wouldn't it be better for that to be spent on educating a citizen than imprisoning them (especially for things like marijuana)? One is

Isn't PH just another example of the typical business cycle? Found a startup, get big, get bought out/go public, turn into crap, then another startup is founded to attempt to dethrone you, repeat ad infinitum.
