Generally agree, but disagree with this one: - Code reviews are a waste of time and present a great opportunity to destroy team morale CR has prevented an uncountable number of issues in our large codebase with junior devs.

They've bragged in the past that the team members are younger than conhost.exe. I think that about sums it up. It's not a crime to be naive, but lashing out in response is a problem, as we've seen.

Yes, you can use Python just about anywhere, and it is arguably more sane/readable. Prefer httpie over curl at the command-line as well.

Usually done by giving an inflated contract for services of some sort, to an associate. Associate often returns a kickback to the giver. As a campus needs a large maintanance budget, this can be a big source of fraud. However, I agree that

This is true and shouldn't be downvoted. Only quibble is the alarmist tone, however the situation is and should be somewhat alarming. Folks often recommend putting out the fire with gasoline, unfortunately. For example another poster

Yes, and I'm looking forward to blue, and have used nero as well before I knew blue existed. Like the idea of black, and implementation, but its "taste" unfortunately leaves a bit to be desired. Pushing extra spaces into slic

I think the ad-hoc selling on the internet thing is kinda done, outside maybe craigslist-like things. But selling obscure things often requires a bigger than local market, where you need the full US or similar size to get a sale at a price

Given the limits I was thinking, not whitelists but time, request, and complexity limits, I don't see a huge difference. Theoretically it does sound more dangerous, particularly for a free service, but you'll have to be careful ei

Tip I learned from an interview on Motley Fool money podcast. Take a cheap plastic razor, use and dry it after every use. Quite dry, e.g. with a towel and blowing on it. It will last from 3 to 6 months, depending how dry you keep it. Mean

Oh, I thought the concern was from a denial-of-service angle. Compromise would imply the account has access to things it shouldn't. Which while possible should be taken care of, and if not, a rest api isn't going to prevent. (I&#

Agreed those restrictions should be... restricted. But, even luxury housing gets old. The primary driver remains a shortage in supply, everything else is approaching long tail.

Thought that something like this would be good as a pre-boot environment. A lot smaller than EFI and perhaps more functional. Though debatable how good an idea that is. Guessing most folks don't want to program asm however.

Correct for IC jobs. When you want to move up thru the "glass ceiling" to make the real money, guess who they'll pick of two similar candidates? The one with the better degree.
