Asking for that doesn't take away the fact you decided to focus on how the victim's parents could have prevented that instead of focusing on the crime itself. It's an indirect way of blaming the victim instead of the accuser.

Go is also great for building performant APIs (REST or RPC). I agree is not ideal if you want a full-blown monolith web app. In that case a typical MVC framework will save you weeks.

What they did wrong was not having the resources to handle that volatile environment. I know other companies also halted trading, but many didn't. They are bitting off more than they can chew.
