I already tried Emacs in Termux but I was too slow and did crash while trying to do some things. Nowadays I simply use JuiceSSH and mosh to connect to my main computer. I would like to have Emacs in my smartphone even while I don't hav

My anecdotal experience is that I can get better uptime using Windows rather than Linux in consumer computers. The i915 bug made me end up using a Windows host with Debian in a virtual machine, just so I could trust that my computer would n

Modern hardware is unreliable, especially under GNU/Linux. Ryzen didn't give me any problem under Windows, but GNU/Linux.. the same can be said of Skylake/Broadwell i915 gpu driver. Both my Thinkpad T450s and X250 are no

I would wait. I bought a 1800x Ryzen and had some stability problems under Debian Buster which disappeared after a BIOS update, but I'm not compiling large projects continuously nor it has been up for a lot of time (maybe 3 days uptime

The fact that our brains have "bugs" and biases has seen a significantly increased interest, so I suppose that methods to solve those bugs has seen an increased interest too.

My opinion is that the popularity of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has brought the attention to Stoicism. I reached Stoicism by reading about CBT, and started reading about CBT because I wanted a proven tool to improve and modify my psycholo

Take a look at TMLewin and CTShirts. I think they offer the best value in shirts. Spending more than 60$ on a shirt is not necessary. I don't know about US, but in Spain you can get a tailor made shirt for 100$.

For buyers it wasn't easy back then. Now, in Spain, you can turn cash into bitcoins very easily. There are bitcoin ATMs in a lot of cities where you can buy/sell bitcoins anonymously with a 1000 euros limit. With a bank account or

Turning cash into bitcoin can be as easy as buying gift cards. I sold bitcoins in person around 2012-2013. I had way more demand than bitcoins I was willing to sell.

It's more like: "I bought a painting for 20$ at flea market. 6 years later I learned it was from Van Gogh but sadly I don't know where it is now."

I used mu4e in Emacs. For HTML and images there is a view in browser function. Now I use Claws Mail with Emacs as the editor. This solution lacks integration with Org-Mode so I may end up going back to Emacs.

In Spain you need to provide your ID for a prepaid SIM. They even requested your ID for SIMs you already owned and eventually disconnected all the unidentified.

Take a look at these slides [1] They're for 2010. Hardware needed? Around 70$. Knowledge? With those instructions, anyone. For the uplink you need to be able to spoof your IP which would require to find an adequate ISP [2] [1] http:&#

Yes, you can use a lot of other editors without a mouse. The advantage of learning vim/vim mode is that you can be proficient with them without having to learn their editing keybindings. Vim mode acts as a common interface. I even use
