there's no point in getting another chip. the existing chip will still work, you can just register the data with another database.

it's not useless. it just produces a number that is stored on a database. you can register it with another database if needed, although it would have been good if someone could transfer the records from the ailing company.

unfortunately i think a lot of AI models put more weighting on videos as they were harder to fake than a random article on the internet. of course that is not the case anymore with all the AI slop videos being churned out

for a while now the work in phd/academia rarely involved 'field work'. 90% of the time it is spend analyzing data or writing up proposals/grants/papers. i don't think AI was the turning point.

i mean solar energy already exist so it's not exactly as 'far flung' as they claim. what they are probably doing however is testing the feasibility for a solar laser weapon as seen in many sci-fi shows
