As for the meaning, yes, everything/nothing. Your blog is about everything and nothing. Seinfeld is "a show about nothing."

I had an e/n site in the mid to late 90s with some popularity. I think StileProject probably coined the term. There was a whole group of people who were "internet famous" at the time whose names have been forgotten but I see

At 37 and having suffered some truly bad burn out between 33 and 36 I think your view is being colored by your current employment. Lots of places treat code and programmers as a commodity. As soon as one burns out, replace with another. Tho

That really seems like wishing. In an ideal world you'd want Youtube's (Google's) legal teams working for you, protecting you against DMCA abuses and alike... but they don't. Not unless you're a top-tier YouTuber an

Your bottleneck should probably be managing your requests, not saving the document/assets. I'm dismissive that language speed is non-negligible in scrapping. Rate limiting and being smart about how you're fetching data should

FB, despite their acquisitions to stay relevant, will follow Friendster, MySpace, and the others. Something will come along to knock them off their perch. I left FB (and social media in general) 4-5 years ago. I haven't missed any of i

I've been building things for the web since 1995. I feel you-I started rolling my eyes about 5-6 years ago with all the JS fatique (I love js but the community has become tiresome when you've been in it long enough) I left fronten

I can see the clunky from Jira seeping into Trello over time. Especially if some of the devs weren't part of a package deal. I like Jira but I understand why others aren't fond of it. I'd argue it completely depends on how yo

Neat but this is underwhelming considering who it is with his resources. I've seen dozens of setups like this from random nobody developers over the past 10 years or so. One-off home brew projects like this are neat but until someone c

In short, I'm suggesting let them think you are considering legal action. It's surely not worth the expense (money, time, energy) but at least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you made a number of people scramble and s
