Your work just sounds very subpar. Crippling developers with that sort of equipment and environment is a poor move and also an awful trade-off, business-wise.

This together with RES and Shine makes it really pleasant actually. In fact, I think you don't need to visit old.reddit.com for RES/Shine to work. CPU/MEM usage is off the charts though (has gotten much better).

This only means the cost is somewhere else, just hidden. No free lunch. This remark is useless since I have no clue where , just that it is somewhere.

Just did so successfully two weeks ago, Win10 Pro on T480s, Version 2004 or 20H2, can't remember. The latest of what the Media Creation Tool gave me, anyway. Others said Win10 Home does not work anymore. Ironically, I installed Win10 c

That works, but wouldn't for me. Discovery is precisely the primary service YouTube does for me. I really only ever click around the top two rows on the main page, all automatic YouTube suggestions. They are relevant and interesting en

As another commenter noted, the key is to have your own domain. Get that set up, then forward all of Gmail to your new domain and mail provider. If you are deeply dependent on Gmail, this transition can take years to finally pull the plug o

Been very happy with Namecheap. That is maybe not saying terribly much, having moved from GoDaddy (arguably one of the worst out there).

Exactly! With mail, search, maps and various others, there is no community lock-in. Who cares who else uses their same mail provider? YouTube is the only thing where I do not see an alternative, simply because that website is not about the

This is the way to go and so much more efficient. I don't understand or use the new Settings because I don't have to. The search is good enough, albeit barely. What really rustled my jimmies was when Bing was down (which I don

That is pretty much what Docker enforces, too (so it's baked in, not just happens to be best practice). You can run multiple processes in a container, e.g. using `&`, but that gets ugly so fast you'll notice you're tryin

I don't have a CS background, so maybe that's how I'm missing the point here, but I don't see what is so supposed to be so special about Julia's multiple dispatch. In fact, reading more about it and knowing Python,

I haven't come across a method to toggle parts, chapters or sections directly, but you can get pretty close by including them from separate files, then calling `includeonly`. Perhaps also look at the `import` package: https:/

In an ideal world, I would like to write plain Markdown and send an email off like that, with conversion to HTML happening in the background. A suitable Thunderbird addon for this [1] seems abandoned. Formatting HTML is a real struggle for

Each test result creating several rows of data seems like a problem too. In clean data, every observation is one row. It makes working with the dataset much easier. In this scenario, I would expect one observation to correspond to one tes

While you're right, I really do like 4chan. It doing away with any voting really creates a wholly different culture. It requires a completely different approach to reading it. Now, the people there are outcasts in one form or another,
