I work out the Columbia University libraries, although I'm not a student. For $500/year you can become a Friend of the Libraries and have access to all the libraries. It's a bargain if you consider how much you would spend at a coffee sho

Why do I need a website to connect with my tenants? They have my phone number and email. Assuming I signed up because they would prefer to contact me through this service, then if I were the type to ignore them by phone and email, I'd p

I initially read this as "people who use Linux are odd" and had a much needed chuckle. After reading it's descendants I don't think that's how you meant it, but thanks, nonetheless.

I have a two year old so have been doing the vaccination dance recently. We take her to a pediatric nurse practitioner at a rather alternative practice (they even have a shaman) and she advises getting the MMR vaccine. If the vaccine is s

Not thriving and blighted are very different. I live in the neighborhood and often go to that very gas station. The spot is far from blighted. Here is a street view of the station: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=e
