At least for python, just pinning the top level dependencies are not enough. if you pin tensorflow==2.4.0, it doesn’t pin its required packages, rather it just defines a range. An example would be tf will try to get wheel>=0.26 (which wa

Slightly off-topic, it really irks me when people take about reproducible builds/environments while using docker, while having something along the lines of apt-get update/pip install in their dockerfile. Like that completely destr

That is not completely true. In EU more than 40% small farmers consumed more than half their produce. In India heavily subsidizes farming as well, for good reason since a significant portion of the population is employed in the agricultural

There is a cutoff where small farmlands are not sustainable or economical. Small farms means that the overhead for the produce is too high, and they require extensive subsidies to stay afloat.

It was hovering around 30-40% 2 months ago, and was around 56% in May. Unfortunately historical data is hard to find since most gov/hospital websites only seem to show covid related data.

Link to the resort’s response from twitter https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VZCwyULmkLpZ7y5nT5wsaX0mn8w... Seems like a messed up situation and i would like to side with the guest, but given I don’t have a culture

I completely agree. Not everyone knows, or even wants to cook 3 meals a day (me included). For people who have gotten free food through their work, it is a big deal. Now they either have to make stuff themselves (which costs time) or source

Isn't the North Charleston plant the one riddled with serious QC issues, and the one Qatar airways refused to take deliveries from? https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/20/business/boeing-dreamline...

If the Bay is still relevant at that time, then all it would take is a few hundred million to contain the rising water levels, in the form of barriers, flood walls, etc.

I don't think Timatic is foolproof either. It seems to work fine as long as the requirements are basic (have visa/duration of stay/visa on arrival) but it (or the people using it) seem to break down as soon you add any comple

I would say it depends on how one might want to handle it, like when you create an item_t you set next_free = -1 as a flag to indicate that it is not free. And have bulk_data_t's 0th position's next_free be 0.
