I'm curious what the terms of usage would be, since eventually people will figure out how to block all the ads one way or another. Also after having seen a few cheap Walmart tvs, some with very intrusive ads I think there might be a ma

Not really. According to the CEO's tweets the payroll funds are stuck in SVB, but Rippling is using their own funds/collateral to fund the payroll. Ref: https://twitter.com/parkerconrad/status/16343151878

No, the alternative is having a full time job (where you'd probably get paid more) and then quitting/switching after one has an offer.

Basically you recreate your personal base image (with the apt-get commands) every X days, so you have the latest security patches. And then you use the latest of those base images for your application. That way you have a completely reprodu

Slight nitpick, but `apt-get update && apt-get install -y openssl dumb-init iproute2 ca-certificates` in the dockerfile is not the recommended approach. That command itself means that a docker container is no longer reproducible. Yo

None of the issues here are related to being cloud native. If you are completely on-prem, but your employees are remote the same social engineering attacks would work on your organization. The issue is with companies having absolutely garba

The usecase I’ve seen similar to this has been Artifactory. If a dev wants to use a package, then a specific version gets pulled and hosted in the internal Artifactory repository and then all build tools use it to pull packages. The way I’v

This reminds me of an intern project in my friends company where they stored all hashes a few hamming distance from the password, so even with typos you would get logged in. Iirc it had a cool demo, but was never used in production.
