Are you saying if someone isn't vaccinated for Covid 19 they can't be a good team member and contributor at a high level? Because that sounds really really bad.. and dangerous.

If an all remote company wants to impose a vaccine mandate I suppose they can...., but I mean it seems like a huge waste of time. Hiring in engineering is already so hard right now no need to make it harder.

That's kind of where I'm at this point. I just want to know the non obese number to know what I need to do for myself besides vaccination and already having the virus. Or can I just go on with life? It's really the same wa

Get vaccinated yes, but that's not how the pandemic will end. It will end when most people have had this thing. Essentially it's probably over now but the media is going to hold on to it for a little while longer.

I guess maybe I mean human race threatening? Civil war isn't going to wipe humans out completely I suppose. To answer the parents question though what does it take, well of course if people are seeing their neighbors bleed out of thei

Are you asking because you work in a gain of function lab :D? It's going to be hard for a virus to come from nature that can spread like the Flu and be as deadly as Ebola. The biggest societal threat besides a meteor or nuclear war i

Unfortunately we could have made this exchange in March 2020. Mostly older people in exchange for younger people. It would have been over in a few months. June/July of 2020. Now we make the exchange but this time it's everyone

Same thing happened in the online beat space. It used to be producers creating music. Now it's a race to the bottom. Who can download a pre made loop the fastest and put the same drums over everything then sell it for $5. I don

I just take that as a difference in the times. Meteor was from another era in development. We mainly did server side stuff and used backbone, knockout etc to do more complex interactions. Or just used javascript/jquery. Why would I

I was just posting the video to respond to the parent on why the CDC number is lower than the paper. The video goes over that.

I've seen 2 people on my Facebook feed have issues. One is pretty big in the skydiving community. He had a Moderna booster and it all went downhill. He's doing better now. He initially thought the vaccine was to blame but then

I think we should take advantage of Omicron right now and let it rip through the population as it's most likely less deadly. Not doing so could be catastrophic and lead to more deaths in the future if the virus mutates to be more dead

I mean I think it says something very blunt. If you're not overweight you probably don't need 5 boosters and you can probably go about your day and play the odds. People still know how to play the odds right, they do it everyday

You mean post-viral syndrome? I mean yea it's a thing with viruses but it will go away eventually. I had a cold a few years ago and was sick for like 3 months. Some of long covid is mental, so there's that aspect. Some say vac

Yes but Spanish Flu was really really bad. Affected everyone. Covid is not the Spanish Flu or even the Flu. The flu kills children and is indiscriminate. 80% of hospitalizations and deaths from Covid are related to weight. We should hav

If the world wasn't so fat and it was 50 years ago, COVID probably would have been nothing, or the Hong Kong Flu.

Everyone will get this virus. Countries that do good now will do bad later and countries that did bad now we do good later. It's all inevitable. All you can do is take it on the chin or delay it. Every country has predetermined num

It's very well possible if we let it rip the fatality rate could have been even lower. Isolate older population let everyone run about get it and we're done. Then let older/obese people back out after vaccinations.

That sounds about right for the US. I don't know why we didn't just give everyone $2,000 to take the vaccine. Would have been more ethical.

I got one for you, we can prevent 80% of covid deaths and hospitalizations and reduce other diseases and get universal healthcare because the cost would be much less...Just ban fast foods. Make everyone exercise and that would be mandated
