And the open-source aspect of Go's development is managed entirely in Google services (the dev mailing list is a Google Group, you can't contribute without a Gmail address...the list is long). Sure it's hosted on GitHub, but

Can't speak for everyone, but I use this[1] keyboard most of the time, and it doesn't have a Caps Lock key to remap, but instead has Control where Caps Lock normally is. So using ctrl-[ is much easier than reaching up to the escap

What Vim lacks in browsing/inspecting code it makes up for with the speed you can make edits - using motions and macros can make tedious code changes nearly effortless. So it depends on what you value more.

I'm betting there will be a huge perceived speed boost simply because Apple will have full control over the device's stack. I'm sure they'll find ways to better optimize the OS for the hardware. What I /am/ cur

I'm just hoping other companies can offer something coming close to competing with Tesla in the next five years (my timeline for getting a new car). I'm already leery of Tesla's autopilot being more camera-based.

I don't see why anyone would pay more than $10/mo for a non-Gmail email service. But I'm also a grumpy weirdo who prefers to use plain-text email wherever possible, so all these "Gmail-killers" don't really off

I think the difference would be an image loaded remotely vs. an image inlined into the email as an attachment? But I'm not well-versed in how images are handled in HTML emails.

Honestly, the only thing I like from this is the tracker blocking and no automatic footers/signatures. But how well do they support plain-text only emails? I've been moving more and more to plain-text as my default setting for sen

I don't get how they can complain about Google stifling innovation in an open system since 2004 and then close off their counter-offering by not offering IMAP. I'm gonna stick with running my own mail server to get around Gmail. I

Yeah, if there were a way to have this without the grid stuff, I'd be all for it. But as it is, if I want to use this I'm stuck either ignoring tags (which I may want to use) to avoid the grid stuff, or I'm stuck using a grid
