I'm not sure what your startup does, but I would bet there are better things to ask a candidate than this. You get these problems in school and become quite good at them in the moment but after doing real world work, this mindset will fade.

Bingo. This works for several services. I've personally had success with this (accidentally) with my cable provider back when cable was something people used. I called to cancel and enjoyed 3 months at a very reduced rate prior to cancellin

I suspect people registering a domain on GoDaddy will have a much higher probability of being technically inclined and able to know what to pay for and what they don't need. Further, GoDaddy will recommend products which are relevant to som

In a few months, I will, once again, uninstall 10 tool bars from my mother's computer. She doesn't want them but they are all installed. Why? Because allowing users to opt out of installs is effectively the same as installing through a driv

I would say you're mostly alone. But I wish I were with you. I typically just waste time on my phone. GPS is what I consider the deal breaker to be on 'dumbphones' for me. Google navigation probably won't come in a device I would feel good

Get really good backers. Because of production costs, car manufacturers can barely handle having a single car in their portfolio fail. I can only imagine with higher expense and a smaller market, aerospace products would have an even lower

Time Mag has ads on their site. As in, they're trying to make money. I'm not sure it's a great idea for you to take all their content, put it on another website, use their logo/branding, and then tell the world you did it. I would recommend

One reason my stuff usually fails is due to empty elements. For example: <div class="clear"></div> in order to clear a float or something. There are better ways to do this but nothing is more convenient than riddling

I don't think you should focus on learning the many facets of SEO while trying to deliver a product but there are some quick, actionable pieces of advice which are undisputed enough that you can pretty much blindly implement them. A great p

Very nice. Congrats on shipping. Why the subdomain blog.mocktailsapp.in? You're building a product which is already established as a thing people need. You can almost be sure people are searching, right now, for 'mockups with version contro

Why aren't you charging more for this? Serious question. Does the value your service provides your users equal $3.99? More? Less? What line of thought resulted in $3.99/year? Are you interested in this being a business or is this just a hob

I think it depends on whether the biz has been validated in some way or not. I think the first version of most products should be simple enough to not need 100% dedication in order to build it. If it requires that much focus, you might try

The issue here is that you aren't a candidate to work for small bootstrapped startups. You can tell this is the case by the unfavorable results you get by working for them. Startups get talent by partnering with the right people. I can't im

Most of your issues seem to be about Unity. I don't like it either. You should try KDE. It comes built into Kubuntu if you'd like to run it live before you commit. If you like the feel of older Ubuntu, I would recommend xfce, which is what

Those who say, "Search Sucks", are bloggers who need you to read something they wrote. You're not likely to get one to show up here to tell you what's up. It's because they're just using that headline for what it is - bait that will top HN

The smallest would always be #1. You probably meant to only say 2 and 3. I think a toggle switch would be a good idea. That's how most services allow you to control your spending.

This is actually a great idea. If someone offered something like this, I would expect that link tracking should also be part of it. My main issue with something like whoreadme is the idea of adding their domain to the email address. It adds
