Bingo. The problem with talking about Covid-19 casualties is there's no argument that'll convince the skeptics: mortality rates are relatively high when we still have hospital capacity , imagine if we had double or triple the num

To be honest, I feel like the base CS degree is kind of useless to anyone who has worked in the industry for a while. But it does give you the opportunity to do an MS or PhD, which could be more interesting if there's still an academic

Sure, and you can do something similar with C and obtain a ~10kb executable, or even less if you put some effort. Or write that in Java and need a complex setup including the JRE and a bunch of packages to support it. The point is that this

Not if you can get re-infected. That's why the cold and flu virus are still doing the rounds every year despite pretty much everyone you know having had a cold or flu at some point.

Can we all agree that - sure - all those things look dodgy and most likely Hunter Biden benefited from his dad's position, but: 1) That doesn't prove Joe Biden himself benefited directly from it (that's implication all these

Haha, I hear horror stories from my friends who are on NextDoor. At some point, a guy reported seeing a coyote on Lafayette park while walking his dog at 2am. You know, just being nice to the neighbors and letting them know to be careful ab
