Source? I see a lot of complaints about issues on the F35 that were fixed years ago. No question its a way over budget project that had a problematic start, but from at least some sources I've seen the program seems to be much better n

If you agree to some form of anonymous tracking for diagnostics I can see 1mb being reasonable. This would be periodic update on things like usage levels, part quality, etc. Most likely that tracking acceptance is buried in some 500 page eu

I'm not sure what state you're talking about, but most I know are way less. presuming the learner is over 18 the requirements tend to be something like 1. A written exam, takes ~30 mins to 1 hour at the DMV 2. A 5 hour class (when

Sorry, you are correct. What I thought in my head and somehow didn't get out onto the keyboard was 'there is 0 chance a conviction will have any real world impact', because the ICJ has no teeth and people who oppose/supp

I would not be shocked at all if Palantir sold to Myanmar. Also there is 0 chance of conviction. Also I think you are unfamiliar of Peter Theil and his beliefs, I would recommend some research there (hint: he wouldn't care).

Touchscreens are terrible for any sort of environment requiring ruggedized gear. A little bit of rain or dirt makes the touch screen get very confused and totally useless for actual touch.

For the cost - you are talking about the capex. Starlink would go under opex, and thats where the margins lie. You can probably make the numbers work, but no one wants to touch this. For bandwidth - there are typically around 10k planes in

(1) Starlink for airplanes is very expensive. Multiply that by many many thousands of planes and its $$$$$$$$. (2) With that many planes you start to get into Starlink bandwidth issues. Cant it support that many? I honestly don't know

Doing a bit of research I found a few sources that say that the terminal velocity for a generic smartphone is ~20-40mph, which isn't that much. Lots of phones survive car crashes with higher speeds than that. Add to that landing on sof

At least in the US this is already how it works. There are existing KYC vendors where you can basically pass along info to them and they will give you a KYC score for a customer.

This is a frequent, but fairly disingenuous attack on cybertruck. All these pics are from preproduction models and the most recent models basically don't have this issue at all.
