Thats some pretty shady shit. I have a relative who is mostly a-political and bought a Tesla years ago with the intention of being good for the environment. Now she has a target on her back? What?

There are managed cold wallets of various flavors - either managed hardware, multisig partners, or in some cases just sales shenanigans where they are full key custodians but call it cold storage. Its a problematic part of crypto from a fou

If you are taking out $200 from an ATM you are probably buying something from a local store. Groceries, car mechanic, maybe going to a bar, something like that. Good luck paying for that with Monero. Oh and I hope you don't lose your c

I watched the video, the Wile E. Coyote fake wall stuff is a gimmick meant to draw kids in. That, however, par for the course of his videos; they are designed to hook kids into engineering with silly things and secretly teach real engineer

Fun game. Some comments: 1. I did not realize that battle world was the actual description I was meant to provide. I thought it was just a name for my world, so I put some dumb name and now I'm stuck with that as my world. 2. It would

I'm a big paradox fan, especially eu4 and hoi4, but their dlc policy is downright toxic. There are tons of dlcs, they are all overpriced and they all break the base game in their own ways, and the only way to "fix" it is to b

Basically all federal pay data is made public, so in this case its less of doge not being transparent and more of they haven't gotten to it yet (my guess). The Chief of Staff makes ~180-200k, if I remember, but I haven't looked it

I know this has important global trade implications and all, but I'm really curious about the logistics of this. Where is all this gold coming from? How is it being delivered to NY? Is it being delivered to the fed bank? How much will

The hilarious dichotomy of HN - this post says UX is going wrong because of JS requirements and HTML only was better, while the one below (currently this: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42682927 ) says UX is getting be

Ah yes, the peasants who are free to leave at any time, get nice salaries and a nice severance at the end, plus a ton of benefits. Oh and at FB many can still WFH. Big tech has problems, but lets not exaggerate - that undermines progress.

Thats not how licensing works.... You are using UBO's likeness without their permission. Commercial success does not affecting licensing requirements. Also it seems like your company makes custom browsers, and you put your company name

Almost 100%. Most 'custom code' I've written in my career for various employers, customers, clients, etc has been very similar. Business logic tends to be <10%, the rest is just integrating stuff and piping data.
