I consider myself fluent in English, I watch technical talks and casual youtubers on English daily, and this is the first time I encounter this word lol. The only "stride" I know relates to the gap betweeb heterogeneous elements i

Sorry but not convinced. How is this different from two endpoints communicating through, lets say, protobuf? Both input and output will be (un)parsed only when conforming to the definition

I honestly looked up for a encoder/decoder for python/c++ application, and couldnt find anything usable; i guess i would need to contact the purchase department for a license (?), while with protobuf i can make the decision myself

Given the fact that most protests are organized on facebook groups, how does one keep him/herself aware of eventual protests to come without Facebook/instagram? I d gladly join for a cause i support

I was so mad when they made Warcraft into 3D. It looked childish and killed the vibe entirely for me

Techincally it works, but the UX is terrible. So many times I couldnt copy a message because of the stupid emojis popping up right below my mouse, so that you have opportunity to look dumb after sending a "heart" in a professional

The documentation you providee requires for the file to be present on the server side, not the client side, which is very dufferent from postgres. As for BCP executable, i couldnt find a way for it to accept any type of date[time] at all

Ok. What if I want a general, polyglot data mangling tool, which doesnt produces metrics tons of bloat like protobuf does?

Maybe? Don't know. I never had problemes bulk uploading into Postgres tho, it's right there in documentation and I don't have to have a weird executable on my corporately castrated laptop

I also had misfortune working with MSSQL is it was so so unbearably slow, because i couldnt upload data in bulk. I guess its forbidden technology

Wow this is good. My only complaint is annoyingly verbose yaml. What if I would like to use Kaitai instead of protobuffs, my .proto file is already a thousand lines, splitting each od these lines into 3-4 yaml indented lines is hurting read

I always find it mildly funny/annoying when reading macros which only appear to save the pointer access caracters #define G(l) l->_G What leverage have you achieved there buddy

I dont get the hype. Installed it at my Framework laptop, instead the usual xfce. Imho, it tries hard to be too smart, and second guess my intentions. Basic stuff like alt f4 doesn't work for some reason. I just couldn't bother to
