I would recommend considering GitLab CI as well. I started moving some projects over there a few months back and I've been quite happy with it. The transition from Travis CI was pretty smooth. There are some differences in concepts (ca

I always like to take note of the ICs on new dev hardware I'll be working with. For one, I may find that something isn't working and the chips may be relevant to that. For two, if I want to re-purpose the kit for something in the

I received my dev kit and immediately broke it. The SOM connects to the mainboard with 4x 80-pin tiny connectors. If you miss the little warning on the silkscreen and lift from the wrong side, BAM, two broken connectors. Purism said they w

I'll plug the Librem 13/15. I have the 13 and I'm very happy with it (initially it had a bug in the firmware so my NVMe SSD that I bought separately wasn't bootable, but they fixed it very quickly).

I have a wall clock that syncs from WWVB. It was pretty cheap and uses a single AA battery (which seems to last forever). I never have to update the time. Can satellite time provide an equivalent or better solution here?

I also found this to be a decent reference (mostly the videos): https://gist.github.com/mbinna/c61dbb39bca0e4fb7d1f73b0d66a4... Also, some of the Kitware projects on GitHub.

The generator expression used here isn't necessary: add_test(NAME plain-run COMMAND $<TARGET_FILE:vector-test>) You can just use: add_test(NAME plain-run COMMAND vector-test) Since the <COMMAND> is an executable target.

It's just pure marketing - create a problem where it doesn't exist, and sell the solution.

Also tag 20 is the newer AEAD method: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-openpgp-rfc4880bis-04...

Personally I'd rather be shot and killed than be stabbed in the face repeatedly with a broken bottle (and potentially live). To each his own, though.

The tech is not identical. Litecoin uses Scrypt and has shorter block times. There may be other differences too.

I think I have AWS fatigue. I have a few certifications and a few years of experience working with AWS, but it's getting difficult to even keep track of all the services.

What a bunch of FUD. The title is crap and the comments point out the obvious solution of a paper wallet and a backup. Personally I find all of this high-security hardware wallet stuff to mostly be marketing wank. A paper wallet is as safe
