I wish Obama's Nobel Peace Prize would be retracted. He never deserved it, and he deserves it now less than ever. It would send a strong message that you can't just bullshit your way into the presidential office of the world'

The right thing would be to convince Assad to offer a truce, step down, and allow a democratic election to happen. He'd have to be given protection, too, otherwise he'd never agree to stop, because he'd fear too much for his

You know where there is a lot money to be saved - much more than from food stamps and whatnot? The "defense"/war budget and the home police state. You could save literally hundreds of billions of dollars - every year - an

Miranda didn't wipe his hard drive after meeting with Laura Poitras because...?! It might've been safer to use Retroshare or Bittorent Sync or some other means of encrypted file sharing (with the files encrypted themselves, too).

Then don't do stupid stuff. This is what pisses me off about Obama's policy regarding stuff like this, and deciding to protect the people doing the wrong stuff, and prosecuting the people who expose them instead. I don't know

I think volatility is more of a short-term/medium term problem, due to the fact that each new Bitcoin user can have a pretty large impact on the value of the Bitcoin, and it's still early days. But I also think deflation may prese

That's Retroshare. It's also the only one as far as I know that has P2P "e-mail", too (besides Bitmessage, which is still quite new and unproven).

But this is what we're talking about here. Those "orders" give them almost unrestricted access to everything they want - for mass spying . All thanks to the so called general "warrants" from FISA. Does that make yo

NSA is on a power trip. They've changed even the relevance of the word "relevant", in their justification for spying on everyone. They'll be using any justification to further their goals, no matter how crazy it sounds.

I'm not sure I would go as far as saying it's impossible to have private communications on the Internet. It's impossible right now for the masses , because they've decided they can trust these 3rd parties. So we n
