Amen, brother. I don't know how I ever managed multiple projects before RVM. Thinking back, I don't think I'd ever call what I was doing "management"...

I haven't read all of the comments on this yet, but I can would venture to guess that Apple is planning on including their Safari 5 "Reader" functionality in iOS in the near future. Maybe this has something to do with it?

On a semi-related note I have a friend of mine who offers to show her breasts if the guys watching will give eachother a "low two", which means they need to touch their bare asses together on camera. Then she clicks next.

Do you have any evidence that this has ever been done in the past? It's not inconceivable, but it seems like a huge leap.

I have owned and used pretty much every single GTD app on the market. OmniFocus has been the winner for me simply due to its maturity. I use it in conjunction with org-mode for Emacs. org-mode is what I use for managing my code and computin

Hell yes. If you don't use IRC you're missing out. I hang out wherever I'm learning stuff (#clojure atm), and keep logs of many channels so I can search them later.

Yeah I actually asked Steve about this and heard the "We're busy people; we have families" response. There's nothing wrong with this by itself, but when you couple it with the size of the community it makes me wonder if Io will forever be "

If only there was actually an Io community... If you notice, practically everyone in here mentions they've "dabbled" with Io, but practically no one is using this for production code. Io still doesn't even have releases which I find pretty

Yeah I find it pretty unnerving as well. Two opposing viewpoints on my mind: 1.) Facebook is for all practical purposes, fairly ubiquitous. +1 for Facebook Connect on that front. 2.) As you suggest, Facebook is a toy and has no place provid

It's applied game theory. If they did this right I bet you'll be surprised at how effective it is. Not to mention people will just spend more time looking at, and building their todo list in order to play the game in the first place.

The real question is: Do you want to be a financier or a founder? Personally, forget finance. Some of us like to invent stuff, and by stuff I don't mean phony securities.

Interesting thoughts! Maybe for people who aren't familiar with Chomsky, it would be nice to explain what you're talking about with the DoD spending he uncovered, what he did about it, and so on. Finally, got a source or two for what you sa

Raynes and Licenser (Heinz) have both worked on their own version of tryclojure but are collaborating on this version if I understand correctly. I'm not sure how they'll feel about this being posted early, but either way, pretty neat.
