I was wondering what your reasoning behind this was. Do you have any past examples to support this assertion? Or do you base this position on some prior principles?

Hey, It's a week later, I think I will give the KJV bible a try again sometime. Have you gotten onto The Varieties of Religious Experience yet? Do you think I was warranted to recommend it to the audience I did?

Sure, I will give it a go! I had the Good News bible around when I was a child and haven't revisited it for a few years.

I've never visited San Franscisco & seen this 'start-up world' you speak of, but the widespread use of Macs surprises me a bit. In all my IRL interactions with developers, it's always free software variants of *nix with a minority of Ma

I've read some of those books cover to cover (Art of War, the Prince) & other's I've glazed over because they were, well, boring & laborious & I don't believe anybody should be recommending them as things to read for enjoyment (

I think msvan may have been referring to books too. For instance: Origin of the Species spends a great deal of time presenting evidence for why evolution should be believed. At the time this was of course necessary to convince all of the

Do you mean Ritalin (Methylphenidate) or Dextroamphetamine? (Both prescribed for ADHD). Either way, that statement is not strictly correct. Dextroamphetamine does get metabolised into Methamphetamine, but it isn't Methamphetamine when it is

One might think, as I did initially, this is just an API mash-up, or some natural language processing, but the developers geocoded many of these images manually. It's not clear a digital solution exists. This is an important contribution to

If you're interested, Tor is looking at a Cipher suite upgrade. There are obviously compatibility issues when you are rolling out to a network that has 500,000+ daily users. If you look around the Tor proposals you should be able to find it
