Bit of an aside, but I wonder if the rise of LLMs will lead to new programming languages being much slower to be adopted. Like you said, you might have given up on F# without ChatGPT assistance, and the main way ChatGPT is able to help with

As a recent university graduate, yes you're exactly right. I know plenty of people who'd skip class in order to grind Leetcode or job interview prep or whatever. It did make it so CS students in general were less passionate about
