No. Gambling is a part of a free society, just like drugs are. Gambling advertisements on the other hand, learn from Australia. Don't let it happen.

>"This is good enough because I don't expect anyone other than me will use it" is lazy is both a mischaracterisation of the argument, and wrong. It's not lazy, it's a choice with pros and cons. Just because you d

Why would this oblige the client to trust any self-signed cert as opposed to trusting all certificates whose chain of trust can be established using the system's trust store? The reporter isn't asking for mail to automatically tru

Ah, but we live in the glorious future, where retailers are just fronts for flea-markets filled with third party crap, and claim zero responsibility. You thought you were buying a flash drive from Best Buy? HA, you actually bought it from A

Well sure, though that's not really what the article is about. He's clearly gunning for desktop PC/workstation usage. I'd argue that not installing antivirus on your HVAC control system to make it faster is a bad idea.

Spoken as someone who clearly doesn't suffer from anxiety. All forms of work can induce anxiety in the anxious, it behooves those of us imbued with strong self confidence to be considerate of this when judging others' work.

To this day plenty of documentation refers to STARTTLS as being the preferred way of configuring your email client. This is _clearly_ insane in the face of implicit TLS existing. I've never understood why STARTTLS is recommended over i
