No, time in a gravitational well runs more slowly relative to someone outside, just as your experience time slower if you are traveling very fast.

There is not much difference. The relativistic factor is 1.030107, that is a ~3% change. EDIT: My amateur physics say that the gravitational well adds 9.7% to that. I tried the same calculation for earth and it gave a sensible result: a cha

You can take any tool that can process .gif. The fun part is doing it yourself and learning something in the progress. I downloaded a .gif editor, but decided to not use it.

In my opinion, that is a joke on the apparent Doppler effect. The car in front of you is making a turn, and thus you are ( probably )moving towards it. The real difference is much lower.

Thus far I have seen every gif blink except, for someone hits a hole-in-one , earthquake 4 and old faithful erupts . I'm tempted to open the gifs and check the frequency. EDIT: I have looked at GIF format: http://www.oni

You will, once the resolution gets high enough( this will take years though ). I predict that the first users of such setups will be ones currently sporting 4+ monitors.( stock brokers come to mind ). When OR becomes cheaper than the equiva

Punishment is lack of progress; the longer they are stuck more people will want to progress, and those who oppose it will be a minority. They almost made it over the "bridge" a couple of times, they were two steps away from a safe

That is the best suggestion I have heard so far. That would make the game really interesting and everyone would get to play. Currently most of the input is lost, because even though the system processes every one and the game emulation rece

Very nice experiment that really proved worthwhile to the developer. With some luck and media coverage, they have enough viewers now that they have introduced the subscribe (read: $) option, not present before. I would really like to see

It says in the description( for teh lazy ~ 20s-40s ). I have experienced about 20 seconds. EDIT: Actually, the time to register the "keypress" is almost zero, but the effect is only seen many seconds later. You have to guess what

Yeah, I saw it as well unfortunately. The "journalist" is trying to make Tesla look bad without actually coming to any reasonable conclusions.

I noticed that USA media is mostly trying to undermine Tesla for some reason. Almost every article only mentions the fires and distorts the circumstances they were in.

Because the only progress can be made on paper(??) I ask you, how do you know what are they doing at NIF is different, from the for theory important work at LHC?

Yeah... I see no benefit in those, having a few more colliders instead would be really great. Or just start building the next version already!

Not to invalidate your achievement, but with the current gameplay all it takes to weight down the spacebar, and wait. A score of 200 would be much more impressive.

The gameplay would be more interesting if, instead of progressing even if you don't jump trough one pipe( like now ), you would always start from the beginning. Then the bird population would get more and more sparse as you progress; w

I don't think the helloworld analogy is correct. The game is simple but not trivial. . Intentionally or not, he made something that most millions of people enjoy, to me that seems to be a pretty good accomplishment.

You have put yourself out there and published a game. The fame, money and problems come along with that naturally. If you learn to deal with it now, you might be more successful in the future, but if you back off now there is not chance of
