I've been using cloudflare pages like two years now and all svg icons are doing normal they're supposed to. I use Sveltekit. So I think, it's between your framework and cloudflare pages.

In my opinion this depends on your goals, motivations and probably your level of exposure. Serverless or serverful any will get the job done.
