To the best of my recollection Clamato juice was created for the first time in Boston or New Jersey, but popularized via the Caesar in Calgary (like a Bloody Mary with Clamato instead of tomato). Either way, it's a prevalent drink in Canada

There is a lot of possibility to carve your niche, although this is true for most software products (a product can be considered a market leader in one vertical, yet almost unknown in another). Whether you choose to seek out a niche or not,

Dragon's Den is a much better show. You can watch the Canadian version online (which also features Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjavec): http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/

Ya, I mostly agree with you. But there's a fine line between being a good consultant and being a good hacker. Running an SSH server was a quick solution for automating some basic tasks in Windows. Incidentally, I had a great conversation to

Thanks for the feedback! I'm actually a FreeBSD guy and I wrote this post so I have a URI to give to clients who primarily use Windows. I'm not sure what you mean when you say I "don't seem to understand what the software is actually doing"

It's sufficiently difficult to answer your question(s) so I'll offer a different perspective. Consider this question: are you enjoying your time? If the answer is no, are you working towards something that will allow you to enjoy your time?

There's some choice advice in the comments: My parents inadvertently had two strategies: 1) Have only one valuable possession: an upright piano. 2) Keep the house extremely messy so that it is a danger just trying to get through the place,

IANAL, but my understanding is that a class action involves a group of people suing at once. What I meant though is that "sued" usually refers to a completed case in past tense. This lawsuit just started.

The title of the article is misleading. Amazon has not been sued; A class-action lawsuit has been launched.

A comment like that requires a reply. If you don't have the time, that's okay b/c someone probably will (but you could check back later to make sure someone has). Don't punish (downvote) someone for earnestly taking part in the conversation
